for Evaluation in Development

TrainEval – Training for Evaluation
in Development is an advanced training programme for
evaluation in development, which is specifically focused on the
European Development Cooperation and the EC evaluation approach.
The training course is offered jointly by AGEG Consultants eG
and Euronet Consulting EEIG.
TrainEval will take place in Brussels between
February and June 2008 and is composed of 4 modules of
4 days each. The whole course is provided in English. In addition
to the modules, we will invite guest speakers from relevant institutions
for discussion meetings in the evening. The deadline for
registration for the complete course 2008 is 31 December 2007.
Please note that there is an early booker reduction for
registrations until 15 November! Individual modules can
be booked until 6 weeks in advance of the respective module. To

AGEG Consultants eG is a consulting firm in development
cooperation with long-standing experience in evaluation, project
management and training. Together with a German university institute
for evaluation methods, AGEG Consultants eG has developed a training
programme in development evaluation in Germany, where it has been
successfully conducted for the last 5 years (www.feez.org).
Euronet Consulting EEIG is a pan-European network
of established consultancies with its headquarters in Brussels.
AGEG Consultants eG is one of the member companies of Euronet.
Euronet Consulting has been working closely with the European
Commission in the provision of consulting services for development
cooperation since 1990. Euronet has had extensive experience in
the implementation and management of training courses in Brussels.
In March 2007, AGEG and Euronet Consulting have
been awarded a Framework Contract by the EC Joint Evaluation Unit
for the provision of evaluation services in ACP countries/regions.
TrainEval has been developed from experienced trainers
and evaluators to respond to the increasing demand for evaluation
expertise and its professionalisation. It is offering a qualification
opportunity in development evaluation for consultants, project
or evaluation managers of financing/implementing agencies and
for management staff from project partners.
