8-10 March, 2002
From 8-10 March, 2002, eleven representatives from
among more than 40 regional and national evaluation organizations
located around the world, met in the Dominican Republic to plan
the inaugural assembly of the International Organization for Cooperation
in Evaluation.Funding support for the meeting was provided by the
W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
The two-day assembly, as envisioned by the organizing
committee, would be attended by formal and informal organizations
and networks from around the world that are committed to pursuing
the IOCE principles of openness and inclusivity. In addition, observers
from donor, NGO, sectors, and UN organization with an interest in
international evaluation would be invited to attend.
