| Dr. Barbara Rosenstein was born in New
York City in 1945. She completed her undergraduate studies
at Brooklyn College and received an MA from the University
of Chicago. She has both Israeli and US citizenship. Dr.
Rosenstein has been active in the field of program evaluation
since 1986 when she began working for Bernard van Leer Foundation
Projects in Israel. As part of her role as project evaluator
she incorporated the use of visual tools for collecting
and analyzing data. She further developed this use in her
Ph.D. studies at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Beer
Sheva, Israel. Since receiving her degree in 1997 she has
continued her career in program evaluation. She was one
of the founding members of the Israeli Association for Program
Evaluation of which she is currently chairperson. She also
serves on the Board of the International Organization for
Cooperation in Evaluation.
Dr. Rosenstein has presented papers and published articles
on the subject of video use for evaluation, teaching evaluation,
visual images as tools for evaluation, and reflection. |
