Penny Hawkins

Penny Hawkins is an evaluation specialist with over fifteen years experience in managing evaluation teams and undertaking evaluations on a wide range of topics. She is currently head of evaluation at the New Zealand Agency for International Development – NZAID. Penny is the author of a chapter in the recently published book Evaluating Policy and Practice: A New Zealand Reader and has written numerous other papers and articles on evaluation. In recent years she has presented evaluation training workshops in Africa, Asia, Europe, Canada, New Zealand and Australia, and is an IPDET (International Program for Development Evaluation Training) faculty member.  She is the current President of the Australasian Evaluation Society (AES).
