The DAC Network on Development Evaluation is pleased to announce the launch of

THE DAC EVALUATION RESOURCE CENTRE (DEReC)

The DAC Evaluation Resource Centre (DEReC) is a one stop shop designed to give the evaluation and development community easier access to evaluation publications by the DAC Network on Development Evaluation and its members. DEReC currently holds over 800 full evaluation reports, Annexes and (when available) Executive Summary reports.

Highlights
Publications are categorised according to DAC Network member, sector focus or country of focus making DEReC user-friendly.

There is a section dedicated to evaluation guidelines published by members. DEReC is continuously updated so the latest evaluation reports are always available. Earlier publications are also being added. Short and long abstracts give users an overview of publications without having to download the full reports.

Accessing the site
DEReC is accessible through the DAC Network on Development Evaluation website, launched in May 2005. As well as direct access to DEReC users will find detailed information on the Network's current work programme, background information on it's members, and news and events from the evaluation community.
